Oasis Records is a reflection of the community-centered ideals that we strive to apply to every project and idea we share. Haven Roldan has created this brand with the intention to encourage and build up new artists through networking. With a Bachelor's of Science in Music Production degree from Full Sail University, she has built up her own skills in producing, mixing, mastering, composing, and writing music. Her skills are continuing to grow, and she understands the importance of learning amongst her peers. Below you can find a selection of Haven's personal music projects she has completed over the years.
8-Bit Composition
This chiptune composition project was created with four chiptune plug-ins. The idea was to make an 8-bit track that had no more than 4-5 tracks playing at once. It is meant to be all synthesized, electronic tracks that could be heard in any 8-bit video game.
Action Trailer Track
This practice action trailer track was created using major orchestra plugins. It is a fast-paced action track with prominent percussion and strings as well as notable ostinato.
Deadspot Trailer
This project was an opportunity to create the sound design and composition for a game trailer. The sounds were created by using various sounds found on freesounds.org and editing them to create an eerie atmosphere for the trailer. The composition was created using stock plug-ins on Logic Pro.
Ominous Tension Cue
This ominous tension cue in A minor is good for any thriller or extraterrestrial world. This cue consists of a variety of syth pads all meant to exaggerate the outerworldly tone of the piece. The sustained strings provide an interesting layer to the synths, highlighting the piece's use of chords (i, iio , VII, i, iio7, III7, i7) in its respective key. The use of cymbals in this cue is to create transitions inbetween certain parts of the song's sections and to help it flow more smoothly.
